Pumori Expedition
Located in the northwestern Khumbu region of Nepal, Pumori is one of the most captivating and frequently climbed mountains in the area. With its stunning pyramid shape of snow and rock, it presents a moderately technical climb. Typically, three camps are established above the base camp to support the ascent. Our standard route follows the classic South-East Ridge. From the summit, climbers are rewarded with breathtaking views ideal for photography—an unforgettable experience for mountaineers. Our goal is to provide the highest chance of success while offering an adventure that goes beyond expectations.
South-East Ridge Climbing Route
- Base Camp: Established at 5,300 meters
- Advance Base Camp: Reached by a short scramble
- Camp I: Accessed via gradually steepening snow slopes
- Camp II: Reached by crossing icy terrain and crevasses
- Camp III & Summit Day: Involves ascending 55-degree snow slopes
This climb is moderately technical and demands physical fitness, mental resilience, and a positive attitude. It’s ideal for climbers aiming to test their abilities and gain experience for future expeditions on Nepal’s 8000-meter peaks.
